Hello and welcome to the WSG Parent Teacher Association 

We are a friendly group of parents from across the school that meet every half term to organise events to raise money for the school.

What we have achieved so far….

• 2 Outdoor Sheds
• 90 Chromebooks
• Outdoor equipment for Reception / Y1
• Mosaic on the wall of the hall
• Ipads
• The Running Track & Trim Trail
• Peace Garden

Our goal this year

Our main objective this year is to build an outdoor classroom in our forest school. All year groups will use this either during Forest School sessions in Reception and KS1 or for outdoor learning and mindfulness wellbeing in KS2.

How we are trying to achieve our goal

This academic year, we have run several events including Bingo Night, a spectacular Christmas Fair, a School Quiz and a Sponsored Fun Run. We also have several other fundraising events in the year such as cake sales and we support the village fairs.

Join the Dads working group!

There is a Dad’s working party that meets once a term. This helps us save money on paying for a school caretaker and it gives Dads a chance to get involved in the school too.

Please contact the office to find out about the next date. We appreciate any help at all, including painting, jet washing, pruning and sweeping or even using the big tools!

We are all part of the PTA when we join the school community.
