Wellbeing and Staying safe
If you have any worries or concerns then you should tell an adult or a friend about them. Every adult at school will listen to you.
You can always get some advice from someone at childline by calling 0800 1111 or check out their website
Staying Safe Online
We use the Childnet SMART guide to staying safe online
S is for Safe
M is for Meet
A is for Accepting
R is for Reliable
T is for Tell
We also reagularly ask the children the following questions which help children to be open about what they are up to on screens.
'What are you doing online?'
'What's good online?'
'What don't you like online?'
If you have any worries about what is happening online then you should tell an adult or a friend. You can also read the childnet website to help you.
Following the 'Pants Rules'
At WSG we all learn and follow the Pants Rules:
Privates are private
Always remember your body belongs to you
No means no
Talk about secrets that upset you
Speak up someone can help
If you think that someone at home or at school is not following the Pants Rules you must speak up and tell an adult or a friend
You can find out more on the NSPCC website.
